Home

This year I  will be doing the Coast to Coast Walk as my summer holiday with my mum and dad, and Tinker our dog.

We're starting this mammoth 192 mile walk on the West Coast of Cumbria at St. Bees. We will do this walk in the space of 11 days stopping off at many B&Bs along the way to recuperate before the next day’s walk (all dog friendly of course!) We will also be taking part in the tradition of dipping our toes in the water at each end of the walk, initially in the Irish sea then at the end, in the water at Robin Hood’s Bay.

The whole point of this walk is to test ourselves and have fun but also to raise money for a charity (Derian House Children's Hospice).

If you wish to follow me and my family on this noble cause then follow my blog where I will keep regular updates on practice walks and the actual walk, with photos included. I have set up this blog as part of my skills section award for my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.

It would be great if you were able to support us and Derian House by parting with some of your well-earned cash through our JustGiving account. Every little helps!

Thank you .

Below you can see the route we will be taking along the walk.
