Day 11 - The Review

The final day arrived and we were eager to reach our final destination, "the promised land" at Robin Hood's Bay. It was in all a 21 mile walk across relatively flat and easy going footpaths meaning we were able to keep up a steady pace. We walked continuously for hours until we reached the Eastern cliffs of Britain which treated us to an array of great views and most importantly a feeling of overwhelming joy to have finally finished such a mammoth task. We were welcomed to Robin Hood's Bay by a nice cold refreshing drink at Wainwright's Bar where we signed our names in the Coast to Coast book. By signing that book we had finally reached the end of the walk and I have to admit, I have never felt so relieved in my life!
