Day 3 - The Review

Day three was in my opinion the hardest walk we will have to do on this entire coast to coast. We had two steep climbs, the first was a cold wet windy labyrinth of fog. We couldn't see the path most of the time and and when we did see it, it was mixed in between a maze of boggy ditches. When we finally descended to Grasmere we were met with our ace backup team providing us with an excellent array of culinary delights to ravenously feast on before doing the final 9 miles of the walk. The second hill was a delight in comparison and didn't prove much of an obstacle after the steep beginning. We were then able to enjoy a steady scenic descent to our hotel.
